HELP-Unread E-mail icon will not disappear!

He guys, I have had an unread e-mail icon on my home screen for about 2 weeks now. I have done multiple battery pulls and have deleted all my prior messages in the folders. Nothing will make the icon turn off and it is constantly showing 1 with the folder icon. Any thoughts? thanks!

You can also open up any of the messages folders, press the BB Menu Button and scroll to View Folder, which will bring up a list of possible suspects where the offending message could be hiding. Take a look through those to see if there is something in any one of those folders.

Another option is in your message folder go to search. Make sure at the bottom you have Service:Yes, Folder: All Services, Show: Sent and Received and then just hit search. This will pull up all email, txt and missed calls sent and received.

Like the other posters said do a search, it is a powerful feature. Most the time this happens to me it is because I quickly saved an unread message in the saved folder.

If none of the above suggestions helps, might be a theme bug, if you are using a custom theme, change to the stock one and do a reboot, if you are using one of the stocks ones, switch between them and do a battery pull.
