Goodbye iPhone 4, hello BlackBerry Bold 9780

Hey all, I'm so glad to be back with RIM after ditching my iPhone 4...so glad I made the switch. The iPhone was alright but after a month or so I pretty much quit using any of the gaming/multimedia "perks" of the iPhone and found myself with nothing more then a glass BlackBerry.

Needless to say I'm back and ready to go, I missed the community and can't wait to dig back in.

...welcome ! Those are some of the reasons people come back to BB ! I too have a iPhone, but after a while it´s "stagnant" and boring.
Must be the battery pulls of BB that hold my attention...

Glad to be back, instantly feel so much more at home...especially now that I'm used to actually pressing down on buttons again. :P

I loved my i4. The only thing I couldnt get used to was the keyboard. I will probably get another one though.

I'd love to say the same but unfortunately I found myself not using 90% of the apps/games/multimedia capabilities of the phone after the first 4 or 5 weeks. Glad to be back with RIM as I said...I still find myself admiring this thing on a daily basis, the 9780 is simply stunning.

I thought long and hard about getting an Iphone 4, eventually went with the Torch and love it. Basically I could not see myself using all the apps on the Iphone plus I dont play games so I would not use it enough. The BB torch is brilliant and great for all my needs!!

^^^couldn´t agree more with Dave. ! I thought long and hard, obviously not long and hard enough, and got one... boring ! Passed it over to the wife to substitute the 3Gs and she´s loving it. At least it wasn´t a loss !
I sometimes get the need to use it, primarily to sync work docs with MobileMe, but otherwise nothing else. Now, the iPad is useful, but it ain´t a phone !

I wonder how the bb Playbook will compare to the I-Pad. I wish it had a larger screen, I would even like the IPad screen to be a little bigger, not all of us have 20-20 vision these days We must all be BB fanatics!

Nice that Apple fixed the death grip but the iPhone lacks so much hands on feel to the device for it to actually be called a "Phone". Good move to come back, I just returned a few days ago myself and not leaving again. Sometimes you have to leave to learn from your mistakes
