My new (new to me at least) 9700 will be here Monday! It is at the FedEX place in town now but since they are closed on Saturday, I can't get it. That is just mean...lol. I just hope it works good...it is a refurb from at&t.

A big Plus One on what everyone else has said - the 9700 is strong and as smooth as butter, easily the best BlackBerry ever. You will be very happy!

Phone is here! It seems to be working just fine for a refurb. I did the device switch via dm with no issues. I haven't updated the OS yet due to my laptop acting funny. It has .405 on there now. Is there much difference in the OSs?

The trackpad didn't take long to get used to...for me at least. Hubby got my 8310...he had the 8110.

The differences in the 5.0 versions are subtle, so if I was in your position I would probably just wait for the 6.0, probably just a couple of months. However, there's nothing wrong with changing OSs if you want to! There's no damage done, and it's actually quite fun - after all, these are toys, right? Congrats!
