    Email issues

    This afternoon I started having email issues with the Bold. I have 2 accounts connected through BIS. One is an outlook account from work, the other is gmail. Gmail gets to me immediately and I can send using it. I can send through the outlook, but have not been receiving for several hours. I tried pulling the battery and I tried deleting that account and adding again, with no change. No incoming emails. Any ideas?

    First thing I would do is check the settings on your desktop / Outlook program. Make sure that in your advanced account settings, emails are set to "leave on the server" for at least a day or else Outlook will clean the server before your BB gets a chance.

    Now I am actually recieving them, but it is 15 minutes after they hit my inbox. I didn't change any settings, but prior to this afternoon I was getting them on about a 5 minute delay. Any ideas why that would change?

    Blackberry BIS polls your server on a 15 minute interval unless it detects an active conversation, so this is correct. Additionally GMail is instant delivery, which is why you notice the difference.
