    disappearing app world

    Advertisement

    Ok, I may be crazy or maybe it's something else. I got my 9700 last week and I luv it! I downloaded app world and everything was fine until two days ago. My app world disappeared tuesday. I thought I had deleted it by mistake. I downloaded app world again yesterday and everything seemed fine. I woke up this morning to look up some apps and it was gone....again.

    What is going on? Why is my phone automatically deleting app world?

    is it deleting or you just have no icon. when you can't find it look in your application list under advanced options, if its deleted it wont be there.

    It happened to me with the 'Bible' application. OnceI deleted this app. BB World would disappear. I tried the procedure again, and again the same happened. So I just archived "Bible" and since then BB World stays on.It's a glitch that has to fixed on the OS. Not on the programs themselves.

    My 9700 is also deleting App World. I installed it and the installed an app from it. When the installed app didn't work properly, I uninstalled it only to find that App World was gone too.

    This is annoying, it' done it again when I deleted another program. I actually opened a thread with the bugs I've found (http://forums.pinstack.com/f257/9700...d_bugs-116645/) and I'm sure problems like this will start to happen now !
    Pity, 'cause the 9700 is a great BB.

    Lol, I had .371 and had the same thing happen. I opened up my toy box(don't laugh) and found one from my old storm. Glad I didn't have to go out to the office, its cold here.

    It does it on battery pulls on my Storm with any OS.
    I assume that RIM does not want me to but anything more from them. OK!

    my app world just disappeared on me after uninstalling an app and rebooting. I'm assuming no one has a fix or workaround for this yet?

    If you delete an archived application from Home Screen, you end up with this issue and RIM knows this;
    You should go to Appworld application -> My world and then delete the archived application from that screen.
