I bit the bullet and purchased a new Bold 9700, unlocked and unbranded. Will be here on Wednesday. Was hoping for over night on Tuesday but it seems that Monday is Canada's Thanksgiving!

    Happy Thanksgiving, Canada!

Mods, I wouild assume that Bold 2 posts go in the Bold forum, if not, where?

When it arrives I'm interested in how you like the Touch (Pad) Sensor. Be sure to update us on what it's like.

I have already used the touchpad as I had a 8520 for a few days. It is an entry level Blackberry but the touch pad worked very well, smooth and dependable.

The 9700 will arrive on Wednesday and I will post images that evening. I have purchased from this person before and they got me the Bold way before anyone else.

I believe the other poster and most will call it the Bold 2 or Bold II.

Add the weight comparison to my list of "interested in knowing". How does it compare to the original Bold? I enjoyed how light weight the Bold is and easy to hold onto.

It will not be out until Nov 11th.

I have a trusted friend in Canada, the same that got me the Bold before it was introduced.

The Bold was an unlocked Rogers, this Bold 2 is unbranded, in the box. No need to unlock
