Try the Case Mate Barely There Case, my daughter uses one on her 9000 and you can't even tell that it's on. It fit's very slim but is sturdy for sticking in your pockets etc.

iFrogz just launched a new line for the BB 9700, 8300 & 9500. Comes in different colors, gunmetal, pink, red, grape, orange, green. I have them in stock and A LOT cheaper than ATT store.

Got more info on them? Pics? On their website seems like they only carry Apple product cases.

I've bought the Krussell Orbit Flex case for BB9700.
Can be a bit bulky, dependent on which clip you use, but I do like the Krussell multidapt system as I can switch my phone from belt to car to bike to bag strap all in the same case.
The Orbit Flex has a removable fold down cover, which is a nice way to protect your phone as well as somewhere to carry microSD, SD and sim cards.
It doesn't officially have the proximity detector system of a proper BB case, but the press stud is on a magnet which can be used to turn your BB over to "in-holster".

I have to make a comment on Seidio Customer Service......

I purchased an Innocase 360 for my 9700. Great case and I love most everything about it except for the fact that the keyboard cover tends to not sit flush against the keyboard below the opening for the trackpad. This results in abnormal wear of the cover in that area. I reported this to Seidio and they are sending me a new case to replace it. Well done, Seidio!

I'll post up some pictures of what's happening to the case soon.....

I use case-mate barely there for everyday use, usually at home. When I travel I use the seidio innocase for max protection.

Sena Ultra Slim. I don't need any protection because I am pretty careful with my phone. Plus I always carry it in my pocket. Just want something to keep out dust, lint and to make the phone sleep without adding much bulk. For me, the case is perfect.

    Fortte pocket

I was really disappointed with the case that came with the 9700; I wanted a slim case without a clip that would fit in my pocket. Found the perfect one here:

Does it have screen protection built in?

No. It's basically a thick skin. I added the privacy screen protector separate.
