    Question calendar sychronizing problem

    I have a new Bold less than a week old. Today I started having problems synchronizing my Outlook calendar. In fact it stopped completely despite having the settings turned on in the desktop manager. Also it seems that Facebook somehow grabbed my calendar despite having that setting turned off. So I removed Facebook and got some the syching with Outlook back, but not all. How get I get this completely reestablished? And how can I dump the facebook items in my calendar? If there's a way to completely dump the BB calendar and re-synch with Outlook that's fine.

    I am having the same problem. I don't have Facebook on my bold, so I don't think that's the problem.

    Your calendar will not sync unless you remove both the facebook calendar sync and the contact sync...
    Undo the facebook contact associations and it should work just fine...

    There's a couple of apps that will allow you to sync your facebook calendar to your outlook on the pC... Use that to sync the facebook calendar to outlook and then sync outlook to your device... That's the easiest way...

    How do I remove the facebook synch? I'm unable to locate that.

    also i should comment that the facebook entries are almost always a duplicate of my outlook entries (altho not 100%) and i can not delete the facebook entry without it removing the outlook entry when i re-synch. looking for some help.

    My outlook calender isn't syncing. I don't have facebook, so I don't think that is the problem. I have checked all my sync settings in DM.

    My Outlook calendar also just resently stopped syncing (and I do not have Facebook). I am on BIS thru ATT and only have one calendar and one e-mail address.

    I fixed it by:
    Re-sent service books.
    Then went to options>advanced options>service books> looked for CICAL entry and deleted it.
    I then sync'd phone and all worked perfectly.

    Mine was doing the same. I did what the previous post suggested as well. I also had a conflict with profiles in Outlook. Make sure you are synching to the same profile. You can go to mail under control panel and edit and change profiles there.

    I can say that my problem is fixed. Although it was not without issue with RIM. When I wiped the BB, the email setup for BIS would not get re-sent. Turns out that RIM had some sort of obscure issue which they finally realized after having me "on hold" for about an hour.
