so i wake up this morning and my bold is off, left it on the wall charger so the battery shouldnt be dead. woke up tried turning it on and nothing, i put it on the usb charger and the red light came on but then quickly died so i left on the usb for awhile then put it on the wall charger. i turn it on and the red light comes on then the screen with a battery on it with a lighting bolt going through it. what does that mean? as we speak it wont turn on again.

Sounds like the battery is dead and needs to be replaced.

If your device is new take it to the store and let them trouble shoot the issue. You already know its the battery so if they determine the same they should replace it

Good point, Jeff......didn't think about it being a new device. Batteries will go bad after awhile, but not if it's a relatively new device.

I actually lost a battery due to a bad charger. I only figured this out after two batteries however. So if it's a new device, I would also ask them to swap the charger out.
