Bold owners, what was your previous device ?

Personally i had a Red Curve 8310, STUPIDLY sold it to get an iPhone 3G, got the Bold on Canadian launch day and sold the iPhone 3G for enough money to cover the outright purchase of my Bold.
HAPPY since then
I had an O2 XDA Orbit, which was a good PDA but a bit of a crummy phone. I ride motorcycles a lot so it was damn useless with its touchscreen that didnt work with my gloves/when it got a bit wet from rain.
In the end it fell 3ft off a coffee table and the screen broke. Had to go back to my old N70 for a while which was awful so I bit the bullet and ordered the Blackberry. Was my first BB and did a ton of research before I ordered and couldn't really find a bad word about it (apart from firmware glitches/carrier fusses).
I had the pearl 8100 which was my first bb. Had that for a year and now my gorgeous bold
Will never return to a normal phone!

Moved from my first Blackberry (an 8800) to a Curve to my Bold. Pocket PC user before then.
BB 8300 (Curve).
The BB 9000 (Bold) is my 5th BlackBerry.
Pearl 8110 and awaiting the Bold to hit the US.
Chris, how was the transition from the Pearl to the Bold? It looks big device. How does it feel and carry? I like the Pearl's small form factor and the SureType keyboard. I use the OEM leather swivel holster and strap the Pearl to my side. Obviously the best thing to do is wait till at&t releases it and test one out, but I am infatuated with the Bold right now
