You guys can probably help me out. I love the bold! Sometimes when i visit eg www.pinstack.com the page is so small I really need to zoom a couple of times> When i really want to view the site right it needs to be in column mode. I like this the best and i would like to change the default for that.
Browser options are in column mode but i still need to do this manually.

    Any suggestions are welcome!

Btw I'm running 4.6.0.92 pm me for a good 134 link please.

Upgrade has definitely made a huge difference. Thanks!
But how do you have 50mb memory?! My Bold is running great, but i just went to check how much memory I have and its at 12mb!? 35mb after a battery pull.

Go into the Browser settings and change to Column View (from Page View) - Page view tries to display a full web page on your device... Column View is much more optimized for reading

    how much free memory.

    any bugs

    whats your os

    carrier

and whatever else your noticing on this new device

    Carrier is Rogers (Canada)

My Bold came with OS 4.6.0.125. Out of the box it had 20MB free memory and was down to 5MB withing 5 hours of playing around with it. I did not install any software, just played with the provided apps.

Then I used DM's app loader to remove all unused language support. After the restart I had 40MB free. Several hours later I was down to 15MB.

I tried a battery pull and had to do that 4 times before an error free restart happened. I had lots of Java errors and once the start screen icons were scrambled and some were missing. Finally it booted error-free with 42MB free.

Today I upgraded the OS to 4.6.0.134 and removed some of the sample media .cod files. Now I have 56MB free just after a restart but the memory leak is severe, about .5MB/hour just sitting on standby. I lost 9MB during one hour when I was doing lots of browsing on the Blackberry Browser.

I now use ALT-RightShift-DEL to reclaim memory when it gets low. A battery pull does not seem to be needed.

This is very disappointing. I'm considering returning the Bold while my 30 day/30 min return policy is in effect if this is not fixed soon and then getting a new one when the bugs are worked out.

    Regards,

    Carl
