    can this OS 4.6 go onto a 8310 curve? just curious... dont think it can, but thought id ask.. thx

    No. You can install any Carrier's OS onto the same device (just delete vendor.xml), but it must be the same model device.

    Oh yea. It's crazy that you can't install the OS for a CDMA QWERTY device onto a GSM device that has a condensed keyboard.

    These are handheld devices with limited storage and CPU power - not computers with Gigs of RAM and hundreds of Gigs of disk space!

    But don't take my word for it - go ahead and try to install the Bold OS onto your 8320.

    I don't think he was refering to the fact that you cannot instal this on a curve. I think he was refering to the fact that they released a software update for a phone that's not quite out yet.

    Seeing that they have the OS on their site means its been approved by the carrier. I have OS v4.6.0.112 PL 4.0.0.130 which is curently been tested. This is the 5th build I am going through and hopefully the last.

    since when is the bold a CDMA device

    and since when does the 8320 have a condensed keyboard?
