AT&T was founded by none other than

    Alexander Graham Bell

    Ironic eh?

At one point in its history AT&T was so powerful, the US Government broke it up into smaller entities so it would not be a monopoly.

Lucent is a spin off of AT&T (Think Nortel and Bell Canada)

    Lucent is now Agere

Correct. The in stock date is in which the delivery of the product should happen. Then theres the street date at which its allowed to be sold. That being said, I know there are times when a customer sees a product in stock but not on display but is allowed to purchase it. I will check tonight when I go in what the deal is.

There is no way that Best Buy would be allowed to sell the phone before AT&T for a very long list of reasons. Number one reason is that Best Buy despite outward appearances & contractual language, is an AT&T reseller. They have no ability to activate the phones.

sent via what? a BlackBerry! ...
    From where?..AT&T
    For how much?...nice try...
