    I would like to thank everybody for the all their help and input. I have been mulling over what to do and for the money that I paid Roger's for the phone I think I will go tomorrow and exchange it for a new bold. The phone is only 2 days old and should be performing better. I'll let everybody know how the new bold works out.

    one last thing, even though you have the newest OS try to update it again. for whatever reason that fixed my Bold problems.

    Well I put OS .247 on my Bold, what a difference, battery life is way better and no freezing at all. Everybody should put this OS on their bold. Thanks for all the help, glad I upgraded!!!

    Glad to hear that, tip- on .247 to switch application from any screen is a long press with the menu button. Peace

    Thanks for the tip BHP77. Just to let everyone know, my battery level has hardly moved today with the .247 installed. Thank goodness and my Bold, I love it.

    It's either the OS (the latest is .247) or a bogus app that eats memory. OR if you run a webpage which is very big, then, yes, the resources go in the page and the system slows like hell.
