    Bold crashing daily

So I don't know what's going on but my Bold has been crashing at least two times a day. This usually happens when I'm trying to refresh a webpage or download something. First time I was updating my facebook and the second time I was in the middle of a youtube video. Yesterday it crashed when I pulled it out of my holster. When I say crash, I mean the screen goes black and I get the red LED then it reboots.

    Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, this is a known problem according to AT&T. They say there is no fix at this time. However, yesterday I upgraded my OS to version .210 and that fixed it. In addition, it made the device a lot faster, more stable, and the overall performance is improved. I highly endorse this upgrade.

Another fan of .210. I haven't had any issues with it.

I just downgraded to .167 because my camera wouldn't open on .190

I had a feeling that the contacts are not great inside the phone so I opened it up and adjusted the prongs in there... Not the ones directly visible when u take out the battery but the ones on the otheR side INSIDE the phone... I did this a couple a days ago and haven't had any restarts... Maybe u can try thay if .210 doesn't improve your situation...

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ as mentioned by others, do the upgrade to one of the newer OS versions: .214 or .215 and also check the sim card to make sure it is seated properly.

Did the upgrade to .210 and so far Im happy with no reboots as of yet. Did notice that the SMS text when replying had the previous messages a lot more visible than before. Other than that, cant tell much.

So far after a few days of very intensive usage, I'm happy to report that .210 has resolved the issues with my Bold and has remained locked on 3G the entire time. Not once have I seen EDGE. Fast, stable and reliable thus far. It's for this reason I'm not going to .215. As long as I am getting the reliability I seek there is no reason to change.
