Bold browser home page missing Search

I switched from my AT&T Bold demo unit to my newly purchased Bold today.
I used the DM to switch devices, and I am attached to a BES.

After the switch, I noticed the home page is missing the google search box.
Any idea on how to put it back? It was there before the switch process, so I'm guessing it is a service book issue.

I've tried an ALT-CNFG procedure, deleting the browserconfig SB's and undeleting them again. No dice.

    Thanks.

Did you try to reload the page?

I tried that, but still no search box. I went to the Host Routing table and re-registered one of the carrier entries to get new Service books again. I now have the search box back.

    Thanks!

I had that same problem when I first got my bold (first blackberry). I never did figure out how to fix it, it ended up coming back with one of the restores which I did several times upon first learning how to use my blackberry. Thanks for posting what you did to fix it, it's nice to know what you did in case that ever happens on my blackberry again.

Resend the service books. It's a problem with deleting any browser service books OR new phones. Once the service books arrive the search bar exists.
