    Question Bold 9000 track ball fails again

    I'm wondering if I'm the only one who is having problems with the 9000 track ball. I purchased a Bold in December. The trackball failed 2 months later and AT&T replaced the phone since it was within warranty. Now, it's two months after that and my trackball is failing once again. I'm not a hard person on phones and I keep my Bold in a case so it's protected (and never dropped). What gives with the trackballs? Does any one have any insights. Should I get another BB model and drop the Bold?

    Please try a light amount of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Blot it to absorb excess moisture, then roll the trackball in all directions while depressing it. Let dry for 10 minutes prior to use.
    This one's a new one on us. For with the Bold came the introduction of the "buried" trackball, requiring disassembly of the entire handheld in order to maintain or change out the trackball assembly.
