Ok, so I have already called and spoke with rogers regarding this issue. And the guy I talked to told me it was the first he had ever heard if it.

I had my phone plugged in charging, and I received a phone call. When I answered I got a sharp painful shock from my phone!!

I also started getting shocks on my fingers while texting. Lol

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has that problem?

I've never had that happen to me. Did you get your phone wet? Sounds like a short in the phone or charger. Is it still doing that?

Yea. Take it back if you can. For some reason your being used as a path for the electricity. Basicly you're the easiest path to a ground. That is the first case I've heard of with it though. Take your battery out and try typing. (Do this at your own risk, I'm not liable if something happens) This might tell you if it has something to do with the battery or not. I suspect not, but it will eliminate it as the problem.

Sounds like there is a loose wire, or some of the cas is touching a live area, I would definitely take it back, I have never heard of it before. I don't have the problem on my bold.

The phone is brand new. I haven't even dropped it yet. Lmfao that's a big deal for me.

Rogers is sending me a new phone and they want me to send this 1 back.

The only thing I'm worried of is if they say there is something wrong with it. Both of my litmus paper spots are still white. So no water. But if something they find, I have to pay for the phone.

I may just take some pics of it before I send it, and not use it while it charges.

I was really just curious to see if anyone else had this problem before. I thought it was really strange. Lol

That is strange, wouldn't think a phone could produce a charge strong enough to shock someone

Lol no I didn't try that, but I guess it would be no different than checking a battery. Lol

The Bolds battery is by best, the most battery that I have ever used. Wish iPhone had a better battery, oh well cant have it all.
