    Hi,
How can I transfer a Word or Excel document from my desktop to Bold 9000 using the Blackberry Desktop Manager?
The Bold9000 - i just got 2 -3 weeks ago. Do i need to download any apps to it to read my word doc or excel files? Does BB9000 come with any apps to read usch documents?
any help and advice is much appreciated.
    Best -

You don't need DM. Just drag and drop the ms office docs to your bb. I believe the bold has docs to go, it can open and edit ms docs. Make sure mass storage mode in on in your bb, then your bb is seen as a drive. You can transfer anything from your pc to your bb as long as you have enough memory.

That is correct, you just drag the files to the BB. The only thing though is that you are not able to edit the documents, unless you have a premium copy of Docs to Go. I have read some posts about being able to go around that with the standard version though.

It is a great app, if you ever had a palm device and used it on there, it is just about the same. i really like it. Another good app for editing is eoffice, it has a great GUI and is easy to use as well.
