Just saw that as well. Makes me think the price for the 3g version is going to be as expensive as we thought

hi gsm will never be 3g, they would have too rip old towers down and build new, that would cost billions.
just wanted people to know that, why dont u think the iphone is not 3g because gsm cant do it.from what i was told only cdma is all 3g and going too be 4g soon.

AT&T is already 3G. And CDMA carriers (atleast Verizon) have already announced that more than likely, they will be axing their CDMA in the future and switching over to the 4G GSM network.

Either way, all I want is the ability to use voice AND data at the same time and not have to be in a wifi spot in order to do so.

Not sure where you got your info but....3g was avilable when the iphone came out. It was a decision by Apple, not a problem with towers....

Well, if the 3g-less 9000 is released on t-mobile and is priced like the curve is now, the curve and pearl will probably see a decrease in price.

I'm not sure if I would buy the 9000 if it came out right now even if it was the same price as the curve is now.

Incidentally, UPS just delivered my 8320, and now that it is in my hand, I am really impressed with build and finish. Seems more solid than the new 8120 I just exchanged for it. Basically, the 9000 is like a cross between the curve and the 8820.

...actually, when I put it like that, I probably would want the 9000 over the 8320 if it was the same price. I do love the curve's form factor though. I can't imagine wanting to go any larger now that I have the curve in my hand. The curve is like the perfect size, not too small, not too big(for my hands anyways). It's like a biggie small...or like a fatboy slim.

9000 w/ 3G Spawns Dragons from the convenience key

9000 w/out 3G Spawns Fairies from the convenience key.

Its a user preference thing I guess.

    I for one, prefer Dragons.

Isn't T-Mobile upgrading to 3g ? I read they just launched it in New York.

Now if they would just do this with the Cameras! I would so by a slightly cheaper Curve with out a Camera, or a Pearl, And yes I have an 8800, If they couls take out the camera and put in a GPS with out making it as big as the 88XXs would be sweet.

    I want 3g!
