What would be the point of having it on tmo when the 3g isn't even going to work? That's the point of a 3g berry I thought so you could use the advantage of 3g and not be stuck on the edge newtwork.

Hence why your getting the 8220 without 3g

Am in Miami, I was told Sunday that they have started the 3G conversions on the towers. It will be about a month for them to complete the city.

3G is nice, but its not the beast thing since slice bread. I found the EDGE network works just 2sec behind 3G. "Oh Yeah; I have tested it"

The bold on the T-Mobile network does not work correctly. Since they have different bands on the Bold.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Because of the band frequencies. ATT's 3G is based off of the 850mhz spectrum and T-mobile's is based off of the 1700mhz which is causing and data and voice issues.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Bold is no good on tmo...RSC is exactly right...frequencies are wayy diff for the 3G networks. And that's also why tmo is either getting bold that's 3G less or jevelin...still don't know what there gonna get. Lol

    Exactly!

All bolds out right now will work on all other 3G networks, just not T-Mobile for the reason their running theirs on a diff frequency.

T-Mobile is scheduled to get the Javelin.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
