Granted it's only been a few hours, but I am experiencing complete stability out of my new Bold with .167 and it's not displaying the small spinning clock at every turn, as the other ones did. It's also a bit faster, so all in all a positive sign.

well i cant seem to get a reply in other threads so i have a quick q. when upgrading is it a must to "wipe" the bold to upgrade os or can i do it just by running the new os installer or what? doesnt the os installer "wipe" the phone before it installs the new os anyway?

Very good to hear, but I have yet to see an hour glass or anything similar during normal operation with either .125 or .162.

Maybe I'll be adventurous and try .194.

i just got 4.6.201 and for some reason lost the default font "BBAlpha Sans" during the install. Not sure if this was intentional in the release but its gone.

Does anyone know if the font can be loaded alone?

    thx

Just run the installer, it will overwrite the old OS...

I installed .185 soon after purchase...I had .167 on it for a couple of days and though I noticed nothing negative in that short time, I opted to install .185 based on the trials and experience of those who purchased the 9000 before me. I have seen no issues to force me to change this OS. Battery life is good, no hour glass problems, no lock-up or reboot issues whatsoever. Overall, from my experience, I would definitely recommend .185 for the Bold.

I lost it also... lost a few others as well... would really love to get this font back!
Not willing to downgrade just for the font as the BT seems more stable in this version over the .185 I had before.

Have you noticed any strong differences between the two? I initially went from .125 to .190 and I was probably to hasty in my judgement when I switched to .162 for my Rogers Bold. I haven't had any issues with .162 over .125...just wondering if you noticed any positive differences moving from .162 to .190.

mostly just speed. I don't panic when it comes to rebooting my phone, its seriously done in less than 1min 30secs. Definately faster than my 8800.

Rogers' best OS yet is .162 - Avea has .190 that works well on the Rogers' Bold version phones.

I Upgrade to that one (201) early this morning, once I saw that it made my BOLD look like Sh***, I downgraded back to my 167 (268) within the next 10 min. And there is no way to the BBAlpha Sans can be loaded alone.
