I'm using .185. I upgraded it from .167 (which was the original OS on my Bold when I first bought it.)

Tell us why you like it? I like it more because it is just more stable and my battery life totally rocks on it. It's increased two fold.

What did it fix? On .167, I was having problems after shutting down my bb. Everytime I did a battery pulll after shutting it down, I would get the null.exception error code. Also, it increased my battery life. Before, I would charge my bb overnight only to charge it again around 1pm and then again, at night. Now, with .185, I could get through about 3/4 of my day without having to worry about charging it. Overall, I feel that it's a more stable OS.

What improvements does if have? See above.

What do you like about it best? It doesn't crash on me. Occasionally, I still get missing icons, service books and etc., but generally speaking, that doesn't happen all that often.

185 has been good...my only wish was more battery life. The signal has stayed on 3G a lot more then 167. Don't have to reboot it all the time as I had to on 167.

I am running .185 since I bought my bold. Haven't had any major issue with this OS.
Only 2 reset was done, had it about 4 weeks.

    Question

i currently am running .167. but am debating on whether or not to upgrade to .185. is it really that much better than .167? does it still handle aim, yahoo im, ps app, facebook and myspace apps? but as for .167 for me besides the batt life and call quality because of the constant jogging between edge and 3G i love it. dont know if that really helps much archer sry lol did you ever decide to switch back to your bold buddy?

I don't think there is OS .187. Are you talking about .185? From what I have heard, you should only update your OS if the one that you currently use is unstable. After using .185 (upgrading from .167), I have had better battery life.

I am using .190 so far so good, no glitch and much better battery life than my previous version.

In all fairness I had more issues with .190 that were battery/reception related then I did with my ancient .125 that my Rogers Bold shipped with. After .190 I went back to the latest release FROM Rogers (.167) and haven't looked back.

I might be tempted to try .190 again down the road, I had had my Bold for such a short period of time that my judgement may have been unfair.
