    although after i select USB Pin, and click ok, at the bottom left corner of DM where is usualy shows a pin now says none... this normal?

    7. Select the application loader icon.
    8. Select all software you want installed. Check boxes. Click next. When it starts to download, put the battery back in. Do not unplug it

    9. Proceed to the end portion untill you see the "Finish" button.

    Did it detect the USB pin number? After that you click on application loader and it should load the list

    the phone keeps like turning on and off sort of thing.... it sometimes detects the usb pin number and then it doesnt next time.... its acting up

    i tried it with the battery in and i got the folder, but i keep getting a fatal error.... saying to try again

    Let's start again. Unhook bb. Leave the battery out. Go into the desktop manager, when it comes up, plug in bb. If it detects the pin click ok, then click on application loader.

    Yes, that's normal. Go to app loader in DM
