    Hey all-

Want to know if others have this issue. It seems that every time i start a new BBM conversation, the contact ALWAYS becomes busy. And it's at least 15-20 minutes before they respond or can respond.

    Anyone else noticing this?

It may just be a network issue.

The people I'm chatting with are on different carriers. It just seems as if it's always doing it. Maybe my paranoia something is wrong.

Might be an issue with your carrier... But I've heard of other bbm probs with other os versions... Mine gave me trouble on .210... Maybe an upgrade is in order?

If this is on my only issue on .185, then the saying "if it ain't broke, why fix it" comes into mind. My biggest issue before installing 185 was battery and 3G acquisition which were horrible on 167. I can live with this...

I'm on a 8900 but that sounds like a network issue. I had the same problem and I was loosing signal constantly.

Go for the cutting edge! .237!

(OK, I guess it's not technically the cutting edge since .241 is out, but I haven't heard many good things about that OS.)

    Congrats on the Bold.

    josh are those beta?

with my bb luck lately (8220 became possessed; curve tried to commit suicide by jumping in the toilet -- screen has water damage and YES, it was clean water ) i think i will stay away from betas for now.

Well, it's "beta" in that no carrier has released it as their official release. I never tried .221, but I've had good luck with .237, .234, and.210.

My Bold has never once shown the desire to commit suicide by toilet water running any of these.

AT&T's 167 OS is absolutely horrible. To think they waited so long to release it, claiming they needed to make changes to the 3G network to make it work. And then to release it like that? Had it for all of 12 hours before I decided, enough was enough.

Like I said, 185 (TIM Italy) has been quite solid for me. Battery life has been great and the signal rarely switches between 3G and EDGE unless I'm in a 3G dead zone.

That's most likely a carrier blitz...
