how would i convert the videos i take on the BB to a different file type? I have tried searched the web and our site and have not been able to find anything on this. I did find topics on how to convert so that you can see the videos on the BB, but i want to use the videos in Windows Movie Maker. I have a few of our newborn son that i want to add to the movie. any help is greatly appreciated. TIA

Does Windows Movie Maker support MP4 files? If so you can just change the extension of the video from .3PG to .MP4 as 3GP is type of MP4 file.

Or to convert straight to AVI look at this page:
3GP to AVI (its at the bottom)

Or you can rename it as an mp4 and use any mp4 converter because from my test WMM doesn't support MP4 or at least the version I have.

Convert Blackberry Videos Files to WMV

I had this issue as well, but was able to find a solution through a simple Google Search.

I was looking for a way to convert my Blackberry Videos to WMV without having to install any software.

I found 2 sites that help me accomplish this. I have had very good luck with each of them.

Media Convert - free and on line -- http_colon_//media-convert_dot_com

Media Converter - the fastest free online audio and video converter -- http_colon_//www_dot_mediaconverter_dot_org

Hope this works well for you.

Go to www.download.com and get "free video converter"

It can practically convert any video format

Also get "free audio converter" for all your audio requirements...

    And, ENJOY...

I am going to check that out too. The last one that i tried downloading corrupted my computer, the other one that i downloaded was able to do it, but the audio was not in sycn with the video. Is there one that you recommend?

You can try iWisoft Free Video Converter which i'm using now and recommend to you. it is a freeware but better than most paid programs. it supports all the video audio image formats.

    Code:
    w w w.easy-video-converter.com/
