    Very well said!

I agree with the point you've made regarding the nice styling & shapes of the various BlackBerrys leading up to the 9000.

Unfortunately everytime I look at the 9000 it reminds me of the iPhone which is not the type of experience I could live with. I find it rather puzzling that Rim would allow their designers to create a device with this look. Especially since overall the iPhone has failed to deliver, and live up to the stratospheric hype created by Jobs & his minnions.

Perhaps RIM is turning a blind eye & caution to the wind. Time will tell, and hopefully very few will notice what I do. This is one time I would be thrilled to be 100% wrong ....

I don't like the keys much. Reminds me to much of the 8800. Not that something is "wrong" with the 88. But thought the 9k would be more unique.

Once again here is just one more comment that I truly agree with.

I believe that now more than ever, the 9000 requires a fresh look to differentiate itself from the competition.

It also needs to possess a cutting edge style to reflect it's new trend setting feature set & substantially enhanced functionality.

Are they trying to confuse people?

It's a BlackBerry in camo guys! I would rather upgrade from the pearl to the curve. This going to be like buying a windows mobile device for its ease of use.

Your idea of uprading from a Pearl to a Curve is a great move.

I have them both & find the Curve the best BB I've owned to date. Not only that it's very rugged, fast, comfortable to type on and meets my needs 100%. I'm sure you will be very happy.

I'm so satisfied with mine that I can easily pass on the upcoming 9000 if it's as ugly in person as it appears in the pictures.

Not sure. My Curve is one sexy beast However... When I see it in person, hold it in my hand, and start thumbing... I will know.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I couldn't care less about the looks to be honest. I don't have a problem with them, but they don't really affect my outlook on the device when it has such enhanced features. It'll be a while before it comes to AUS, and Optus in particular. So yeah, glad I didn't try to sell my 8800 to upgrade too soon (I would've completely missed the 9000).

So yeah- roll on the BB9000!

I give you a lot of credit. Your outlook is a good one. Just like any other intelligent healthy person.

Me? I'm far too addicted and envious! I used to be healthy like that until....
    Well ....uh....you know don't you?
Yep...I became a BB addict and the rest is history.......
