    Opera (or any application) doesn't care where it gets its data from. No one writes an application to specifically look for WiFi or 3G or EDGE.

    As far as Opera is concerned, you make a request (URL) and it will ask the BOLD to get it. It is the Bold's responsibility to establish a connection to the internet, not the application.

    you CAN play with Opera's settings tho.
    launch it, press the menu key -> option -> LAST option : change it from socks to HTTP.
    try that it resolved a whole bunch of opera mini problems ive had over the years.

    Those settings does not affect WiFi or 3G / EDGE.

    but it magically dont ask me how lol but makes opera mini get connexion when it doesnt (from my past experiences)
