The BlackBerry Bold launches with a $100 mail-in rebate for the promotional period 11/2-12/25.

Does that mean that the price may go down on Christmas or just that the rebate will end? I can't afford another $100.00! After all the wait I have to wait some more!

Thanks, great info. I just got off the phone with my local att store and they quoted me a price of $459 since apparently I am not eligible for upgrade since I just got the Curve in Jan.

It depends the rebate or the price before could either go up or go down.

You would think they would give that price to someone that is buying a new blackberry every year from them.

    RSCStacker:

When you have a FAN# and buy at the retail do you get your equipment discount (example 45% of retail for devices) and still bypass the 2 year agreement? Also, do you have to be eligable for an upgrade to do this?

And also cheaper than Best Buy's $679 no commitment price tag. Thanks for posting the memo. All of my questions have been answered and confirmed. Bring on Nov. 4th.

It depends what your FAN# states. Some say at whenever and others stipulate at time of eligibility.

Need to show a paycheck stub or company badge and have them add it to your account.
