That's simply ridiculous, they are really trying to squeeze out all the money they can for the late arriving, unmarketed Bold.

Yeah, for me to just get a line with AT&T they want a $750 security deposit. That's why i'm still with tmo, good prices in my opinion.

Unbelievable. I think the cost to produce one has been indicated to be $154.
Take the battery cover off one, if you can get the catch to release, and check out that flimsy piece of plastic.
Sold mine a day after I bought it. Bless all who are enjoying theirs - though I'll wait for the Javelin

I saw that. My line is not eligible for an upgrade and the same price popped up on the AT&T Pemier website. Insane!!! Much cheaper to pay full price by going through AT&T Premier.

That is a glitch in the AT&T system.

In regards to the $759 deposit. Need better credit. T-Mobile does a soft credit check and is not like Verizon's or AT&T's.

Yeah, that is some serious glitch, because I just left the Site, and a No Commitment price is $549.00

That's a pretty serious glitch and if it's known by AT&T, then something is wrong. I can add it to my cart and check out paying over a grand for it. I bet some idiotic people with money to spend would do it.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I WAS considering buying one, guess all my money saving efforts only brought me half way. No phone IMHO is worth that much. For that much money it better be able to read minds and automatically reply to messages with what I was going to type. BTW the rediculous down payment sucks too. I can relate, having less than perfect credit. If only they had a prepaid BB plan

I've shelled out bigger down payments when I was younger and for multiple lines and now I have better credit than my parents who have had it credit longer than I have.

If not you can always buy mine

I wonder who would still go out and get it if the price was $999.99.
