Question Apps you just gotta have!

    Hi again,

I'm conscious that there are two posts from me within hours from each other so I'll keep it brief.

Are there any Apps that you totally recommend? Apps every Blackberry owner just has to have? Apps you just can't live without or would just like to recommend.

    Thanks

    Gareth

Ok... Let's see if I can pull this off using my bb browser... Can't really give u links cuzi don't know em off the top, but I can help...

Msn, google talk, yahoo messenger, aim and icq from the blackberry homepage in the bb browser.
    bb messenger is built in...

Gmail - search google for all the gmail apps...
    google maps
    google sync

    GpsED - www.gpsed.com
amaZe gps - bb web page, browse aroud in navigation I think.
gps tracker - www.gpstracker.com - don't really like this one...

Midlets weather - www.midlets.eu - this uses accuweather and its friggin awesome...

berrywiki - from the berrystore app
wikimobile - don't remember, google it...

facebook, twitterberry and myspace from the bb site once again...

    Vlingo - www.vlingo.com

    buzzme - berrystore app
    bbtran - berrystore app
    sunclock - www.midlets.eu

oanda fx converter (currency rates) - google it
    bbnotepad - berrystore app
    mobipocket reader - berrystore app

Opera mini browser - google it
bolt browser - www.boltbrowser.com and sign up, they'll send you an instant email with a link

Atomichelix taskify, atomichelix notify - berrystore app

    autolock- berrystore app
berrystore ( the great app itself) - google it... www. Berrystore.com

    Flicker - bb site
    nubex radio companion - www.nubex.com
    VIIGO - www.getviigo.com

Hope that helps... And hope I didn't violate any rules by typing in the url's... Sorry moderators...
I'm gonna go through the rules to see if I actually messed up by doing this...

The thing I like best about viigo is that I can just keep adding to it and it keeps doing what it does best just sitting in the background and updating itself every 30 mins... And to top it all off, I can email articles to myself, or open one in the prowser to respond to it while reading something else within the app...

As tempted as I was to go google on this, you can only add feeds on google reader by logging in through a pc... That part is what really gets me... And plus its a site... If I'm out of signal range, or my battery is just too low to run the radio, viigo still has my feeds saved and I can go through them... (The advantage of being an app vs a mobile site)

And they even have hundreds of feeds etc to pick and choose from...

The best part ofcourse, is that its free...

But I'm still tempted to try google reader... Now that someone's actually said its better than viigo...

Is google reader now an app? Last I saw it was just a link to a website (icon in the google app).
