Anyone tempted to replace their Bold with the 8900 on Friday?

I'm hoping they'll drop the price even more on the Bold when they release the 8900. Then I will upgrade my 8310 to the Bold...

Im sticking with my Bold - I tried the 8900 and the keyboard was way too small. Love the sizing of the bold...

I use an unlocked 8900 on verizon and LOVE my 8900. I use it more than my 9530.

    You won't be disappointed.

There's no way that I would trade in my bold for the 8900. The keyboard and the size of the screen are the best things about the bold. The 8900 would be a step back for me.

I respect that. Isn't it nice RIM is making so many models.

Not going to happen with me- I need the "easier to type" keyboard of the Bold- I'm a real "fudge finger" to begin with- Chris

Wouldn't that be considered a "downgrade"?

I agree, I think it would.

Don't get me wrong I think the 8900 is a nice looking device and besides the large onboard memory reall has nothing left to offer that bold doesn't already have. In all honesty I would like to have a gsm storm, but I don't blam ya A man can't ever have enough toys.

There is little doubt the 8900 IS a downgrade. The first thing that struck me when I removed it from the box was the smaller screen size. I could get used to the keyboard but I love my Bold screen.

Likely I will buy anyway as I am a technojunkie and will likely use for a while and go back to one of my Bolds. I do like the higher quality camera.

What I really want is the next step up from the Bold. We all know that will be late this year if at all so I got to do something until.

Huh? How are you using the (what I thought was GSM/EDGE only) 8900 on Verizon's CDMA/EVDO network?

Being a Rogers customer, and not AT&T, I could have bought an 8900 instead when I got my Bold a month ago.

So... no. I kinda doubt it.
