If you don't mind getting a little thicker BB, I would jump to the 2600 battery. I have them in my Bold, 8900, and G1. I get DAYS of power use out of all three devices.

Holster? Oh that thing I leave in the box.... Pocket or tossed on the seat of my car or on my desk. Who needs a holster?

I have the seido 3500mah battery. It is a bit bigger, but really not nearly as bad as I had expected. I had to charge my phone twoice per day and it still would die. I easily get a whole day now with bluetooth and wifi now. I was contemplating just getting an extra stock baterry and carying it around in my wallet because I didn't like the size, but opted against it. Plus the 1600 battery is only 20 bucks cheaper than the 3500 for an extra amount of power that is insignificant in my opinion.

SOme of us find the OEM holster quite usefull. I get 40-50 calls a day and handle 60+ emails and the holster is the best way I find to make sure my phone is handy. Tossing it in the front seat or on the desk is a sure way for me to leave my phone behind.

Not having my phone during the working day is not an option!

The stock holster isn't very good is what I think he was getting at. The best holster for the bold in my opinion is the oem clip holster. Its 20 bucks, low profile and retains the sleeper function.

The clip holster also allows the use of any size battery

I have refused to use any holster the device clips into after the 7500 series. I know that was a long time ago but I can remember sending my BB fly across the room while try to get it out.

I have also seen these clips damage the device. Guess each have their own preference.

    You people are HARD CORE!

    I love my Blackberry, too!

I will leave the house in the am and realise that I have not put my BB in the holster and it is like driving down the highway with no seatbelt! Got to turn around ASAP to go and get it.

Not to mention that the clips also damage to the silver bezel
