    9700 keyboard issue

So far the Bold 2 is awesome. I just have one slight problem.... The "K" key seems a little dead. It works, it just doesn't have the click and feedbad that all the rest have. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this issue. Not sure it is bad enough to justify an exchange, but it just one of those things that weighs on your mind.

Just the K key on mine feels dead really. Not sure what the issue is. Anyone else having trouble with the K or the right side of the keyboard?

Maybe I am just over reacting to this phone. The keyboard may be fine.

I still have to get used to it, coming from the Javelin but I like that it is a lot quieter. The quiet clicks seem a lot firmer but the feedback on the 8900 is faster (quicker clicks). Overall, like with any new device it will take a little time getting use to it. You should be fine.... although that's sort of weird that you have one "dead" key.

I had that issue on my first Curve. It is not right and you should not have to just deal with it. You should return it for another.

I might be over reacting, coming from the bold that has excellent key clicks. I'm going to give it the weekend and see if it gets any better, then return on monday should the keys still feels bad.

Maybe go to the store and test out another one to see if the keyboard feels the same. I did read on a review that you do have to press harder on the Bold 2 keys then on the 8900.

I probably will. I just hate switching phones because I have to call my corporate office and have them reset me on the exchange account, so I can activate the enterprise service on the berry. Gotta do what you gotta do though.

How weird would it seem if I switched back to the original Bold?

Is it really that bad? I plan on getting mine this week. I have had nothing but issues with my 9000 even though I still love it.

It's not weird at all. Most are saying that the 9700 should not have been called the Bold 2. It is more like an improved 8900.
