just got a blackberry bold today, upgraded from the curve. got a question about the browser and the wifi connection. Once I am connected to a wifi hotspot, does the browser automatically use that connection to browse the web or is it still trying to use 3G? Do I need to go into the Options and change the Default Browser to Internet Browser or Hotspot Browser?

    Thanks

@ carrington : i believe it uses the wifi connexion as soon as you are connected to a wifi network and through the Default Browser.
Hotspot browser is only useful is you are using a rogers hotspot.

@kevinfawl : you get the charger, headphones, usb cable, a leather holster, the bold, leather battery cover and battery

(I've searched)...and can't find a definitive answer to my additional "storage" question: what is the maximum capacity microSD card that can be formatted in and used in my new Bold? (without tweaking, fine-tuning, etc.) TIA.

They aren't available yet, but I believe 32gb is the max at this point.

Good grief! LOL! I had no idea that's what we could look forward to. I was hoping something like 8gig would be pretty safe for now. I guess it is?

    Thank you.

OOPS: just to make sure there's no misunderstanding...we ARE talking about the MicroSD card for the BOLD, correct?

I'll start with an 8gb, I guess. Any particular brand that can be recommended? (Meaning pop it in and go - without crashes and work-arounds etc. Can you tell I have also had a Treo-650 at some point? ) For my D-SLR's I still like SanDisk, Kingston, Patriot, and Lexar.

Sorry to be the one telling you this but the Bold works on a GSM antenna meaning no ESN -> SIM Card Only meaning it only works on ATT and T-Mobile.
    Sorry but youre OOL ...
