This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

I will be making the jump, if it comes on AT&T, unlocking and rocking on T-mobile it will be.

Dull boring styling, a huge turn off. The appearance in no way reflects the new cutting edge features & superior functionality.

I will not hesitate to say no. Sad but true. RIM is capable of much better than this. The first time that they have truly missed the mark in my opinion. One can only hope the next version will reflect their finest work.

Thankfully my Curve is ideal for my present needs, since I have no plans to purchase the 9000, unless there are some radical improvements between now & the date it is released.

I'm with you, it is certainly a welcome feature.

Recently I have read where the photo of the phone may _not_ what we actually see on release day. If that's the case then there's hope for a design that not so dull & "iPhone". like in appearance.

The phone looks sexy. Lol. Do you guys know if this is going to have a camera? The 9000 looks like a cross between the dash, the iphone and the Motorola Q. (The screen/lcd looks like the one from the iphone, the physical layout like the Q and the Tmobile Dash.)

I think it looks like a blackberry. And we don't even know if this is the final production. As I remember it, it went on sale on ebay, and was removed before anyone coould put a
Bid on it. So, don't be a hater, until one of you know if this is really the new model. I personally like it. I'm not gaga, but I think its a definate improvement with the external sd slot. And I've always liked the aluminum screen speaker cover. Kinda reminds me of my moms old HI-FI speakers from the seventies. And I'm definately into that! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ August? Crap, that means it'll be after Christmas (or later) when it comes to AUS!

Ah well, I'll just keep telling myself I have another year on my contract and that'll soothe the savge beast.

As far as looks are concerned I think it's just fine. My first BB was an 8700V, and my boss still carries around a 72XX (he couldn't get his head around the Pearl I think). So the fact that it's not a house brick is something I'd be satisfied with. The practicallity of improved function will override cosmetic appearance for me any day!
