    You shouldn't have to pay for the apps, again, Cowgirl. Just contact the developer and explain the situation. You probably would have had to change your PIN with them, which would require a new registration code anyway.

    You can call me paranoid (because I am), but, before I do any update, I do my own current backup, then do an outlook sync, then let the update do its thing. I realize this is after-the-fact for you, but something to think about for the next time(s) you do an update.

    I had the same problem when I update my 9000, it said it had backed it up, but when the system came back no backup file! I was lucky that I had backed up the phone about 2 days previously so I was able to go back to that. This was on the latest vs of DM, I just wonder if there is a bug in there? Certainly a good idea to be paranoid and backup manually prior to doing any upgrade.
