I'm using my Torch on TMO. While sometimes the internet speed is a bit slower, I really don't mind it. I hate att plans and with as much testing as I do on my bb, my unlimited plan is competely worth it I also have it set up for uma and it works brilliantly. I had a few issues with it the first 2 days but they settled down and I'm a happy camper now.

I agree roger...I hate the usb placement and fingerprints are making me feel OCD'ish.

Good review. I wish that i had read it before asking the dumb question to the forum 'how do you like the torch', earlier.

Seriously, welcome to PinStack, where you'll find pretty much everything you need if you look around.

Lots of useful information in the links in my signature, too.

Hi, I have a quick question about the Torch. Someone told me that this BB can have the clock change with the time zone. So, when I travel the phone changes to local time. Is that correct? That is one feature I was truly missing on a device. Thanks in advance for your answer, cheers

I don't know if it works on the Torch but on the bold 9000 I have two clocks showing one with the home time zone and one with my current time zone. Something I really like, seem s to be more operating system based.

Thanks for the quick reply dushdavj, I like to use an alarm when travelling and the frustration of having to remember to manually change the time zone was high. When tired, it isn't the first thing that comes to mind. cheers.

That's exactly what I use the clock on my Bold for, when I plug in to charge at night the clock comes up, the alarm works on the time zone you are in, it's brilliant. I am currently on Mountain Time, but home clock is on Central Time (only an hour difference) but still works well. I have used it on trips farther afield and it works really well, also allows me to see what the time is at home, which saves me waking the family in the middle of the night when I call them I would hope that this is a feature that would remain, it would be silly to remove it as operating systems are improved.
