How can i tell if "jailbreak" worked on my phone
do you have the cydia app on your homescreen?
no does that mean it didn't work
probably.usually cydia installs with most all jailbreaks.when you reboot do you get the regular apple boot logo or is it apple/skull logo? what device do you have and what method did you use?
i have blackberry torch 9810
o snap....sorry i should have looked at the forum you posted in...can you actually jailbreak a BB? disregard everything i said....
i don't know if BB can be jailbroke?
i don't think it can be. jailbreak referes to apple products...rooting is the equivalent for android devices.
just curious but what did you do to your blackberry thinking you were jailbreaking it? tell me it didn't involve a hammer or a bail bondsman...
What is your definition of jailbreak, first of all. What do you wish to do with the device you have? If you want to jailbreak (iPhones) or root (Android based devices) the answer is HELL TO THE NO NO!!! you cannot. Now, you may unlock it or have someone do it for you at the store for free or pay about $5 I think nowadays. Also, keep in mind if you're plan is to unlock a phone to be used on another carrier, be sure to understand the differences between CDMA and GSM phones. For instance, I can unlock a Blackberry that I bought at ATT and have it unlocked to work on Tmobile because it is GSM but not Sprint nor Verizon because they're on a different frequency again, GSM and CDMA.
Good luck with whatever you wanna do that phone.
What's the matter? CIA's got you pushing too many pencils?
