I was browsing around the internet about new Blackberry's coming soon!

The Blackberry Bold 9800 Slider came across my mind,

I heard it was coming to AT&T in June 2010.

Anyone know of any carriers that might be getting this phone?
I would lke to get this, but not on AT&T network.

    OS 6.0 already shown running.

ATT has the rights to it for now. But I did read online that sprint would be getting it also after ATT. Hope its true because then I jump right back to sprint.

3G bands look like 1/2/5/6 from what I can make out in the tiny text. That's 800/850/1900/2100 Mhz, which corresponds to AT&T's 3G network.

I would be stoked about a cdma version of the phone......if cellular south gets it, I would definitely be on board as it looks like a pretty sweet device.

Hell yeah! I would go to Sprint.
I almost went to Sprint, when my phone company ****ed up my Repair Ticket. They told me my phone was non-repairable, but they were looking at the wrong Repair Ticket.
They were looking at my previous repair ticket for another phone I had sent it for repair over 1 1/2 year ago.

Cellular South is a regional carrier in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Alabama.........we also roam out of this area on Verizon's network.

We normally get the same BB's as Sprint and sometimes Verizon (Tour, Curve 2, etc.).........we also have the Hero (Sprint), getting the Droid (Verizon).........so there is a good chance that if Sprint and Verizon get this phone so will Cellular South!!

Oh, so Cellular South is like my carrier, nTelos?
There regional coverage was Virginia, and little bit of West Virginia.

But they changed there plans to National.,
So I now have a National plan, but I rarely go out Virginia.
    They share Sprint's towers

Yeah, I heard that my carrier is getting the Droid also!

Yeah, my plan is national as well........I don't pay to use Verizon's network unless more than 50% of my minutes are spent on their towers.

I think our carriers are very similar in their phone selections.......hopefully we both get the 9800!

Yeah our carriers sound very similar.

Yeah hopefully nTelos will get it!

What I think is that the big carriers (Verizon, Sprint) get those new phones, then the smaller carriers ( Ntelos) get the new phones last.

I am not sure I like the Slider. I debated on waiting to see it first hand instead of upgrading to the 9700 but I just don't think I would personally like the touch screen. Hubby said he might look at it whenever it comes out.
