To download a theme from here, simply go to the Free Themes

I need help. I'm really new to this website. Everytime I go the application loader and then click add and highlight the .alx file that I want and it gives me an error message saying no additional applications designed for your device were found. I have a pearl and I've only downloaded the zip files for pearl themes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please Help.

Download the Current Device Software for you device from your Carrier and Install it on your PC. This a necessary step for apps loader to recognize the new theme and install it. You can find it by following the link for your carrier in this thread, BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites.

I have a 8700 and some themes have the activation option and some dont. I have deleted a theme reader using DM and now I only have one theme reader which is included in the OS. I have changed the permissons to allow and done a reboot. This has had no effect in activating the themes.

i would guess that the ones that don't show up aren't meant for your operating system.

if you go here: C:\Program Files\Plazmic CDK 4.2.2\docs on your pc and use the CDK user guide, there is a GREAT tutorial on making them. after the first one or two i made, they got VERY easy

cool thanks ...do you think it will work with the batteries i got from that site ?? they have some cool ones .......

well, the key is to make ONE battery, with 12 different levels of 'fullness' then take those 12 and make them one image.
take a look at the tutorial, it will give you a better idea.
ozrial has put some really good ones in the theme goodies section too
