    Thanks

No worries, I won't bother making that one again. I'll make a new one. I think that one's just bad luck. Was really nice too but I don't like to look back. I'd rather start fresh

Definitely! I always saved all my files but always waited till I was done. I had a bad feeling when I left the house for a few minutes before it happened too. I was like should I save it or just get what I had to do real quick and the inevitable happened. Oh well! I'll get to work on it tomorrow. Thanks guys and gal .

Yes, this is always the best. Because it's easier to go back some steps, too. I usually have 20 thm-files per theme

That sucks a lot. I just finished some work for school (all submitted online). Then I said, "okay, that's done." I closed Firefox and got a blue screen of death.... lucky!

Oh the joys of working on a laptop during a power outage, with implied power reserve, and a partially charged battery (which is most of the time.) There are ALL KINDS of advantages to periodic file backups and regular total system backups. Congratulations on graduating from the school of the Value of Backups.

Thanks . I will work on something new today. I'm going to PM you a question I need answered posting wise. Yeah, I sometimes miss my laptop but I just had to give it up as they get old really soon and I hate upgrading video cards and adding memory as well as storage and the screen's not big enough for me I'm too spoiled with my 24' monitor .

I am surprised nobody suggested tripplite UPS 1000VA from costco for just $99. It will hold you out for another 15-20mins while the power is out + its AVR built-in. I have two 22" lcds, tower, speakers running around 10-15mins after power is out.
