    Saving Themes..

    hey guys, blackberry no0b here..

i downloaded some themes, and did some modifications to them on the blackberry (font style/size change, application order, etc.), but is there any way to SAVE what i've done, before i check out another theme that i've downloaded?!

because, if i check out a new theme, find that i don't like it, then go back to the one that i have active right now, it will go back to it's default..

    just curious..

    thanks..

Each time you change themes it will go back to default. Maybe the 4.2 OS is different.

man, blackberry's are DEFINITELY not user friendly in the customizable dept..

how hard is it to edit a theme entirely on the PC, using whatever program you use to make the themes?!

The only way to edit a theme is to obtain the original file used to create the theme. Themes that come preloaded on the BB are not accessible by the user of the BB.

Plazmic Theme Builder is what you need to create your own, and you can set your own personal preference for font, color, image, etc...

I'm running the 4.2.2.175 on my 8320 and notice that the Theme settings in each one -as in wallpaper,
sequence of icons etc.- remain even after I go back to each after playing with another.
Haven't played with Fonts yet to check if they get retained in the theme.

    Re: Saving Themes..

My curve seems to remember changes I make to a theme. I can switch to another theme and switch back and it's just how. Left it.
