I think the program you are referring to is called Application Loader which is part of the Desktop Manager software. To load a theme onto your phone, extract the files out of the zip folder (if it is compressed) and you will be left with .alx and .cod files.

Open the desktop manager and open the application loader. Click the add button and search for the .alx file and follow the prompts.

there is a way to load it, i just don't know how.
if you open the command files it shows load as the command to load the .cod files on it, but i have NO clue how...

Hi, just loaded the Vodafone Today theme on my 7130c, it was really easy and works great! I downloaded the javaloader.exe program, put it and the theme files (cod) in a folder I called THEMES. Then I dropped to the command prompt, changed directories to the THEMES folder, and typed:

    JavaLoader.exe -u load net_rim_theme_120_today_240x260_w.cod

In about 5 seconds, my BB rebooted and, lo and behold, I had a new theme available. No muss, no fuss, no need to run DM, it just happened!

I found the directions elsewhere on this forum, search for it. Also, be sure that you do a backup (just in case you need to restore from a mistake). Also, I suggest you set a softkey (I have 2) to the OPTIONS menu, in case you need to get there from a malfunctioning theme.
