What Blackberry Device are you using. It would be helpful if you filled out your Pinstack Profile with the Device, and the Full OS Version nunber.

Nextel code may be 103. Least that is what it says for my vendor id.

I'm going to go way out on a limb, and say that you are using the first publicly released version of the 8700 OS. It probably doesn't have the later themes developed for those carriers that didn't release the 8700 until much later than Cingular, so you can't enable them.

In order to get these themes, your going to have to update your BB OS. Check out the links to the OS downloads for TMO, Bharti, O2, Vodofone or any other carrier that supports the 8700 in the Blackberry OS Software links (by carrier) thread.

It's the ONLY one that Cingular has released, and they were the first to have the 8700. 'nough said about that.

I have an 8700g. I've searched my entire "C" drive, starting with the location given, above, but do not find a "blackberry.alx" file. How can this be? What am I missing or doing wrong with my search?
