Hi - I have tried to follow the instructions posted to download themes to my BB ... but all have been a no go. No matter what I do they end up in the applications tab. I have no idea how to edit permission or what it is that I am supposed to be looking for. I own a 7290 - can themes even be downloaded ? Or am I just screwing up somewhere along the way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that you are downloading themes meant for the 7290 and maybe not themes meant for the 8700?

I think so. I found the download themes on this site and clicked on the 72XX series. Did I screw up somehow?

I got ahead of myself a little bit...

First off, you do have Operating System 4.1 installed correct?

You need to make sure you have that installed and plasmic theme reader...Sorry, I should have asked those earlier.

No worries, I have all those bases covered. I updated to 4.1 and installed the plasmic theme reader before I attempted to download themes.

sheisshei, welcome to Pinstack, Have you gone to the Options/Themes to see if they are listed there? If they are not there, can you tell us what you tried to download and where from?

I have tried installing/deleting/reinstalling and rechecking to see if they have wondered over to the themes section but the apparently feel very confortable in applications. I downloaded all sorts of themes from this sight for the 72XX series. I was unable to properly install any of them. Once I check the themes section all that shows is the default and the only option that shows when I click the clickwheel is "close".

Quick question.. How can I delete a theme once it's installed on my 8700g BB. I am on a mac so I can't use the Blackberry Desktop software? I'm I missing something here?

To delete a theme you need to go into options on your bb, applications, and find the theme and delete it.
