My BB 8700 was once on a BES, but the number was disconnected and the company gave me the BB. I moved the service from T Mobile to Cingular and started a new BIS service. However I can not add applications because I get the invalid digital sig message. The developer of the software tells me to contact my IT group, but I'm no longer on the BES. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks |

Try removing the IT policy on the phone. Here's a great thread from JHowle on how to do so: http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...licy_help.html I hope this works. Jade |

roughrider06, Welcome to PinStack. What Version of software is on your BB? These themes need OS version 4.1 to work. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with your BB. Rcbjr |

I have a Cingular 7290 and have installed my chosen theme to the handheld via DM, however, I am not seeing it in Options>Themes. I do have OS4.1 and do see the theme listed under Options>Advanced Options>Applications. I did try to edit the permissions to Allow everything and no joy. ![]() Any help would be appreciated. |

Be sure to install the theme_reader.alx file also. In the event you have several theme(s) installed on your phone be sure to remove one or two that you don't use. There are limits on how many theme(s) you can have on the phone. |

busterm76, Have you read the first few posts in this thread? Additionally, at the top of the page here is a section called Content Alerts, that has some good links that I think will help you with your themes. Read the first few posts in the first on there also. Rcbjr. |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~if you've downloaded the theme and the correct theme reader, you've changed all the permissions to allow, you are certain that you're running OS 4.1, and your certain that your BB is on a BIS, try deleting a seldom used app like sudoku or google maps. Then do a hard reset and check again.

So I have been able to get two themes onto my handheld and activate both of them, however, I am getting an error message. I think it is happening when the device tries to go to the standby screen. The message is "UncaugtException:java.lang.NullPointerExcepti on". This error is happening on both themes I installed and I have made sure that all the permissions are set to Allow. Thoughts? |
