Okay...I reaaaallly need some help...I think I'm almost there. I have about 8 COD files and 1 JAD ... Which of these do I open in Notepad and do I put the "ADD TYPE"

    "AddType text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
    AddType application/vnd.rim.cod cod
    AddType application/java-archive jar
    AddType audio/adpcm adp
    "

in front just like that? & also I can't find the .htaccsess file. Or do you create it in Notepad too or just open the JAD file in Notepad and then put the "ADD TYPE" list in there? I'm useing Homestead will this have any effect on weather on not I can host OTA files?

    Thanks

I have created the .htaccess file and uploaded the jad and cod files however when I try test the link I just get a bunch of text not a file like when I try with your ota links.

Any options I need to set on my server? I have already enabled .htaccess on my server

When you click on download OTA it takes you to a page with all kinds of text.
Look at it. Did you ever figure it out? If so can you PLEASE tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks

The AddType directives should be in a .htaccess file not the .jad file. If you cannot find the file, create in notepad. The contents of the .htaccess file should look exactly like below:

    AddType text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
    AddType application/vnd.rim.cod cod
    AddType application/java-archive jar
    AddType audio/adpcm adp

I just tried again and it's doing the same thing. So I create the .htaccess file? In Notepad? Am I supposed to save it as a .txt or as all files and what type of encodeing am I supposed to save it as? (ANSI, Unicode, Unicode big endian, UTF-8)
