    Theme building question

Ok so i recently decided i would start designing a theme. I have a couple questions.

Using plazmic is there anyway to get the battery bar, and signal bar to look like it does in the theme BB insight (standard on the bb8700)?

On the cingular theme, it has a folder called applications, which inludes most of your downloaded apps, and other apps that where included on the phone, instead of listing them on the main menu. Is there anyway to do that when making my own theme?

Last thing, is there anyway i could get into the code of a theme, and do manually editing?

thanks for moving it, i couldnt even find it after i posted it, i thought i was in the right section but i had so many windows open i most have posted it in the wrong area.

I read the threads, from what i got from that is i cant change the battery and signal bar with the program.

So still wondering if i can make a folder for apps, and if there is anyway that i can manually write and edit code.

    thanks for your help

Chaos, you're out of luck on both of these desires. At least with the current Version of the Plazmic Theme Builder (PTB), and 8700 base themes. We're hoping that the next release of PTB will have more capabilities, but Plazmic is really closed mouthed about what features are in and when the next release will be forthcoming.

    Hope this helps

I really don't think you could do much with the code and the tools we have available. Plazmic uses APIs that are not available to the general public to create the base themes and all the ones that are available on the Blackberry Help/Extras site. And that info comes from Plazmic in response to a question I posed about moving/changing the Stength Indicators.

    Hope this Helps

And some of us check for a new release Daily. Once it happens, the News will be posted, I'm sure.
