You mean the BlackBerry JDE? while downloading? Have you tried using firefox to download it. I'm not that familiar with vista so really can't help.

im still haveing trouble with step 3 didnt get to 4 yet wehn i search google i dont get any links that say download center download? can u maybe emial me the direct link?

Hey guys, about step 4. I have found an alternative way that works!

1) Use yahoo's search engine, type in "jre-1_5_0_11-windows-i586-p"
2) Click the 4th link down "Download Center - Download"
3) Click accept
4) Click the first link under "Windows Platform - J2SE(TM) Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11"
5) It should say something about an offline download, that is the one.

Vuola! Step 4 done.

I have installed all the apps and the program loads fine but when i try to browse for files to change the icons or click and icon to change it in the inspector window the plazmic app closes as if i just hit the X at the top right. no errors nothing. has anyone had this problem before? can someone please help? i'd like to start developing themes

ok i have downloaded everything, but when i go to open plazmic it says, (the publisher could not be verified. are you sure you want to run this software) and when i click yes an installanywhere box pops up and says (please select another location to extrack the installer to) and when i click another location nothing happens, im using the pearl 8100 , can anyone help please?

Step 3 and 4 is the JAVA JDK and JAVA JRE. Go to this website and download "JDK 5.0 Update 15", it contains all needed JAVA Applications. (Maybe later Versions will work, too. There's a JDK 6 Download already.)

ok...nothing works here. i registered with #3. it keeps taking me back to where i registered. then i get a long list of downloads...what exactly is the name of the program i'm supposed to download. does this stuff even work with windows vista? i've tried downloading this theme builder for 2-3 months and everytime i think i've got it right, the program tells me there is an error and won't do nothing. i give up

Im getting error on the install about needing BlackBerry_Email_MDS. I have 4.1.4 but it doesnt find it or something so i cant install.

yes, it only works with email/mds v4.1.2
